All for Good Causes
Your Company Can Make a Difference!
Dear Sponsor,
Here in the Chubu region, many people, including children, are in need of support. For over 33 years, the Chubu Walkathon has been providing support to a variety of local causes including:
- children living in orphanages (living support and access to higher education)
- shelters for child-abuse and other victims of domestic violence and their families
- fulfilling the wishes of children suffering critical illness
- improving living, educational and workplace for people with disabilities
- child-rearing support
- service-dog programs
Thanks to everyone's generous support, we have been rewarded with countless smiles.
The Chubu Walkathon , jointly hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ) Chubu Chapter and the Nagoya International School (NIS) , is one of the largest charitable events in the Chubu Region. This annual event, which marks its 34th year, brings together the region's international and Japanese communities in a common cause to support local charitable organizations and give back to this great community in which we all live and work.
The 34th Chubu Walkathon will take place on Sunday, May 18, 2025. All of the staff involved are volunteering to ensure that every yen donated makes its way to those who in need.
We need your help to make the Chubu Walkathon a success.
Your donations will help change the lives of local children and others in need. We sincerely hope that you will support this cause via sponsorship, donation, and/or participation. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing you on May 18th!
Sincerely,
Robert Roche | ACCJ Vice President - Chubu |
Mark Hosang | ACCJ Governor - Chubu |
Matthew Parr | NIS Head of School |
Nao Geisler | 2025 Walkathon Planning Committee Chair |
