Twenty Million Yen Raised for Local Charities
A presentation ceremony
was heldfor the 2016 Chubu Walkathon Charity Fund
on October 5, 2016 at Nagoya International School (NIS)
as organized by NIS students.
Through the efforts of the International Community and its many local supporters, as well as the 25-25 inititaive of the 25th annual Chubu Walkathon, the 2016 Chubu Walkathon was able to donate 10 million yen to 29 local charities and an additional 10 million yen to the Chubu Children's Fund
.
Funds were distributed to the following charitable organizations as indicated:
