Notwithstanding these crazy times and the need to Social Distance ourselves, we want to reward those that get out to the parks and enjoy the fresh air that a sunny Sunday in May has to offer.
Here's how to get entered in the 30th Chubu Walkathon prize raffle.
To qualify for the general Walkathon raffle, just visit one or more of the featured parks and take the following actions:
You will receive a raffle entry for each park that you visit. And anyone visiting all 3 parks will receive a surprise bonus!
*If you haven't purchased and received your 30th Walkathon T-Shirt, you can show proof of online purchase to the Walkathon Volunteers (your email receipt), OR you can make an on-site donation of ¥1,000 or more.
A big thank you to IKEA Nagakute, Hyappa Brewery, and an anonymous donor for the fantastic prizes!
For our participants under the age of 19, there is a special raffle. To qualify for an entry, visit one of the parks and check-in at the Walkathon tent with your 30th Walkathon T-Shirt*. Walkathon Volunteers will present a QR code where you can enter the draw for some great prizes. Of course, parents can complete the entry on their phones.

Several local businesses are offering some great coupons and discounts to participants at the official Walkathon Parks.
Visit the Walkathon Tent in each park and scan the QR codes for the coupons you would like to redeem. But don't worry, your coupons will be valid for several months, so you can use them when you feel 100% safe to do so!
Thank you to the following local businesses for taking part, and we hope you will all get out and support these fine local establishments when you get the chance.
Local business supports the Walkathon, let's support local business!
Let's Be Careful!
Though we are encouraging people to get outdoors and walk the walk, we also want to stress the importance of best practices in Social Distancing. Make sure you participate within your normal life bubble, and minimize contact with Walkathon Volunteers and other participants. Wear a mask at all times, please.
We, on the Walkathon Committee, look forward to 2022 when we truly hope to be safely back in one park with everyone.
Stay safe people!
